Price Match Guarantee

For the benefit of our retail customers we offer a Price Match Guarantee on our daily rental product.

We will match a competitor's base rental price so long as:

• the vehicle specifications are a close match
• the offer terms are a close match (e.g. payment terms, length of hire)
• the competitor is a corporate member of the B.V.R.L.A.
• the competitor's offer is advertised and available to the general public
• the competitor's vehicle is available for pickup same-day from physical premises within a 50-mile drive from one of our branches

Mechanism

To avail of this guarantee, a customer must supply details of the competing offer in writing to a County member of staff in advance of booking, and that County member of staff must be able to independently verify the offer details. The decision to grant a price match under this guarantee lies solely with County Car and Van Rental. If County Car and Van Rental accepts a price modification under this guarantee, the customer must complete vehicle pickup within seven calendar days from acceptance and pay on collection. The modified price will be valid for the initial period of hire only or a maximum of fourteen days (whichever is shorter).

Definitions

• Base rental price is defined as the daily price of the competing rental product without any optional extras, insurance or tax.
• Close match is defined as either identical or in the opinion of County Car and Van Rental, virtually identical.

Exclusions

Price Match Guarantee does not apply to:

• credit or corporate account clients
• customised tariffs
• Rent28, AdaptHire or Contract Hire products
• personalised or individualised competitor offers or promotions
• promotions that require membership, points or other purchases
• bookings for travel eight or more days in advance
• bookings that allow travel outside of Great Britain or Northern Ireland
• bookings already made with County Car and Van Rental
